Have a good conversation with a representative of a Canadian company
capable to build solid state engine for a flight. Ether it will be
“out-of-shelf” engine (preferable), or designed for specific impulse. Price will
depend on amount of tests required.
A fixed impulse engine will be a carbon fibre cylinder from one side closed by a
carbon fibre wall, and from the other side by a graphite/ceramic nozzle. Inside
cylinder will be placed N/M class model rocket composite propellant, capable to
deliver desired impulse. On a cylinder will be mounts for a craft’s frame and
fixing pins harness. The ignition will be provided by a double reserved ignition
system.
Two engines will have a internal compartment for rotation’s masses used in
probe’s orientation system.
